 I am a mature male of conservative leanings with anarchic tendencies who delights in the security and small comforts of home but yearns for the freedom of the open road and the liberating shock of the wild.  Need constant but manageable challenges and moderately strenuous physical activity followed by a nap. Despite a 10th grade education, passed High School GED, scored in top 5 % on college GED; top 1 % on College Aptitude Test and a perfect score on the Simon Evan's Intelligence test.  Except for high school GED and the Evan's Intelligence test, whose credibility I cannot affirm, I have official records of the other two results. Possibly Mensa qualified but have no desire to preen my intellectual feathers by joining as I place far greater importance on judgement and creativity.  
Incorrigible reader, mostly murder mysteries, crossword-er, handyman and gnarly creator; seeker of odd things to mate with congruent items to achieve unusual, hopefully unique and aesthetically pleasing effects while freeing my mind from dwelling on our imminent apocalypse from freezing to death as a consequence of global warming. A skeptic of both progressive and conservative nostrums who takes no comfort in having my skepticism confirmed. One who wonders how we've gotten this far considering the chaotic mess of our institutions which are but a reflection of a societal psychosis that appears terminal.
